Welcome to Hamara Uttarakhand. Camel Safari is done in the outer area of Jim Corbett National Park, the name of this area is Dhikuli. You can enjoy camel ride with your kids. Jim Corbett National Park has been steadily growing since its inception. However many tourists are not aware of the fact that there are several other attractive places to see around this national park like Corbett Museum, Garjia Temple, Sitabani, Waterfall and Corbett Museum to name a few.

Girija Devi Temple

Girija Devi temple is one of the famous temple in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. Girija Devi temple is one of the most prominent which located in Corbett Park city. The Girija temple is on a big rock surrounded by the Koshi River. Tourists who come to Corbett Park must visit this temple to see Ma Shakti Girija Devi Mandir. In particular, this place is visited by more than 20000 people on Kartik Poornima, a festival. Girija Devi temple is a celebrated sanctuary in Uttarakhand. There is a sacred spot called Garjia Mandir in the nearby language. Girija Devi Mandir is located in Garjiya, a ways off 15 KM from Ramnagar and Ranikhet roads. Girija Devi Mandir is a holy Shakti place of worship where Garjiya Devi is the managing god. There is a 4.5 feet high symbol of Girija Devi alongside Devi Saraswati, Lord Ganesha, and Batuk Bhairava. Most of this temple is from Betalghat and belongs to the Joshi family.

Terms & Conditions

1. Day visit to all zones are strictly regulated as per the scientifically calculated carrying capacity and only a limited number of vehicles are permitted entry during each morning and afternoon.

2. Permits for day visits to the Sonanadi Ecotourism zone can be obtained from the visitor reception center located at Kotdwar.

3. Permits for day visits to other zones are available online on our website.

4. Visitors are advised to acquaint themselves with gate timings and arrive well before the designated time to avoid any inconvenience.

5. Private vehicles are ‘not’ allowed entry for tourism purposes into the park and visitors use specially designed vehicles, registered with CTR for this purpose. Day visits to the Dhikala Ecotourism Zone are permitted only through the specially designed Canter buses via Ramganga Conducted Tours.

6. Visitors can also enjoy elephant rides at Bijrani and Dhikala ecotourism Zone, which is available on ‘First come, first get’ basis.

7. Canteen facilities are available at Dhikala, Bijrani and Gairal. At other locations, kitchen facilities have been provided
