Dhela Zone

Dhela Safari Zone

Spread over 1173 hectares, the Dhela Safari Zone is the sixth Corbett Tiger Sanctuary Ecotourism Zone, shown on the 2014 CTR Tourist Map. It is built in the southern part of the Corbett Buffer Forest. The Dhela forest is different from seeing seven tigers at a time in Corbett’s 75-year history. The forest has mixed forests and habitats for moist trees, and is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including samba deer, which are easily attracted to tigers while hunting. It is also true that habitat is a major area for tiger hunting. The Delazon Museum helps tourists to observe the wildlife from a distance. Della has 46 kilometers of forest trails where you can spot many wild animals. Pedestrians can enjoy changing jeep safaris in the morning and evening. Only 15 gypsies are allowed in the area during working hours. Della is particularly popular for birdwatching. Dhela is open throughout the year.
